If he wants to compare implants to cigarettes, that’s just fine. Let the implant manufacturers stand up and be honest about what the affects of their products are on women’s health, just as has done. There is no advertisement for claiming their products to be safe. The implants manufacturers are dishonest, cigarette manufacturers have had to come clean and admit cigarettes are unhealthy and cause cancer. Anyone who smokes, does so knowing full well that they are jeopardizing their health. Women implant themselves believing it is perfectly safe.

Honey, I will respond to this. We must never compare smoking cigarettes to

breast implants because they are so different. It is easy to take a

cigarette out of our mouth, but we cannot remove our own ruptured breast

implants. I do agree that the politics are the same. I spoke to a

photographer when my daughter was at Planet Organic on Saturday and he asked

what my agenda was. I told him about the breast implants. He told me that

breast implants will never be banned and that they are just the same as

cigarettes, he said that we should all have a choice...as he lit up. I was

so angry at him, he thought that I was a lawyer....he is close. Rogene, he

was from The Edmonton Sun, remember the lady on a saddle? I must admit that

this man made me feel like giving up, but I will never give up.

If you recall, did not wilingly acknowledge the dangers of

cigarettes. It was

only after a panel of tobacco execs testified on film, and then evidence was

found that

disputed their claims that 'yes I believe cigarettes are safe'.

So, in this sense, there is a parallel. The lying, deceitful execs who will do

anything at any

expense to protect their product...yep, they are the same slimebags.

BUt I agree with Lea that it is not as easy as removing a cigarette from one's

mouth (not

that that is easy, when the tobacco deliberately made cigarettes more

addictive). Still, it is

a heck of a lot easier to quit smoking than it is to subject oneself to surgery

again and

again...
