Guest guest
Hi Robyn and another big THANK YOU again! I got some meds at the doc's office and he also wants to schedule a colonoscopy for me. I feel very fortunate in the fact that my PCP has had WLS surgery patients and understands the issues that we have. He's new to me and I was worried and had printed out some info about malabsorption and WLS people...I had nothing to worry about because he had everything under control! He thinks it's just a deficiency but wants to make sure there's nothing else going on, hence the scoping. I like him even more than I did before and respect him a lot more now. I feel comfortable knowing that he's aware of what my new pouch is like/does/etc. I'm gonna take some meds and SLEEP! > > Hi Alisa! > > Please take care of yourself and fel better real soon! > > Drink some hot tea! > > Robyn > >

We alos need to take personal responsibility and educate our doctors on our " hybrid " anatomies! Be well my friend! REST!!! Guest guest
Hey all I am feeling better (good enough to exercise at lunch! lol) and am waiting to hear when I get to have this wonderful (NOT) procedure! I plan to spend the weekend resting and exercising...wait...is that possible? > > Great news Alisa! > > As WLS patients we have special needs.
