Guest guest
Thanks for your welcome, . I am new to this group, this week. I am also post divorce, almost one year. I started a support group for neurotypical spouses and life partners out here in the Seattle area about three years ago, and we are about to have our first splinter group. Our website is at http://www.aspartners.org/ for anyone who might want to make a monthly meeting in Bellevue, WA, on a Wednesday evening.I am trying to make it to Los Angeles to start the next part of my life, along with my two boys, ages 4 and 10. Their father is resisting any change and doesn't want me to relocate the boys, so I have a lot of legal issues to deal with.Thank you for helping me get connected to this group.Faye Ku>> Greetings:> > I just wanted to take the time to welcome new members. > > My name is and am the list owner. I was married to a self diagnosed man on the spectrum with a son that was diagnosed with AS a year before it was recognized in the DMS in the USA. It has been a long journey for all of us. > > I have been divorced for three years and we are both in a better place. This is just MY personal journey. There are happily married. couples in what we call mixed marriages.> > Feel free to lurk or just post your question. The list has been slow and I am back in school seeking a degree in counseling that consumes most of my time and energy these days.> > ASPIRES will always be my heart and soul and the wind beneath my wings. You have helped me understand the dynamics for someone in a mixed relationship.> > Some relationships thrive and are stronger and others learn when to call it a day.> > WELCOME to ASPIRES!!!!!!!> > Beat Regards.> > >
