I have had an occurance recently and was wondering if anyone else has experienced tnis. Around two weeks ago, I noticed a hardening next to my areola that wasn't on my other breast. I figured it was excess scar tissue and didn't think anything of it. Well, the next day, I noticed a very red cyst on the outside of my nipple. If I pushed down, I could feel the fluid. I squeezed it in the shower, and TONS of blood and pus came out. Tons! I squeezed as much as I could out, then cleaned it really well and put antibiotic ointment on it. It was oozing for awhile, and still oozes if I squeeze it. I had an appt with my doctor yesterday. She took some samples from it and is sending it for testing. I am also scheduled for a mammogram. She is thinking perhaps it may be an infected stitch, possibly related to my surgeries, both for the implants and removal.
