Guest guest
Hi Diane: I've had a similar pain under the left rib for about a year and a half, but it's not as bad as it was pre-explant. A couple of girls in the group suggested it could be costochondritis (inflammation of the ribs) as they'd been diagnosed with it and have gotten better over time. I had a bunch of tests last year but nothing was found as they were looking for upper GI stuff, liver, spleen, etc. I plan ask my new doctor to test me for it. I think someone had mentioned a bone scan. My explanting PS said he wasn't able to get all the capsule off my ribs, so I worry that is the reason it hasn't improved more. Your liver could be really congested, causing gallbladder problems, which can cause constant nausea. Do you actively detox?Kenda Molly, To be honest, I am not sure what she is suspecting. I mentioned to her that along with the joint pain everyday and body aches that I also suffer from constant nausea. She talked a little bit about the autoimmune system and then she ordered that test. Interestingly enough, all was great except that the ANA was positive. She said that it was just a little bit high, but she may have been trying to keep me from getting anxious. She is also going to run a test called Anti-H. Pylori Rapid IGG. Has anyone ever heard of this? Rogene I also wanted your imput on some of this. :-) The other thing that she is doing is an MRI of the Breasts. They wanted to do a mammogram but I told her that due to the implants and already having a rupture less than a year ago, not to mention the poor quality of the implants, that I would NOT have that done. SHe said the MRI's are much better anyway and they also can detect rupture and/or any leakage.> > What do ya'll think about these things?> Hope everyone is feeling better! :-)> Diane> > > DianeDianeOpinions expressed are NOT meant to take the place of advice given by licensed health care professionals.
