Guest guest
Melinda, I can't say whether or not anyone has recovered without explant . . . However, it's been my observation that the women who an observe excellent diet, exercise, and stress management program do tolerate their implants considerably longer than others. To me, it makes sense that if you give your body every break to repair itself, you would do much better. However, IMHO, you would just be treading water . . . kinda like running up the down esculator! It's simply not worth the risk! . . . I've also noticed that women who begin taking very good care of themselves before explant bounce back much more quickly. Guest guest
In my case that was not true, before implants I was very much into health & nutrition, excerising daily, lots of pure water, organic foods & supplements, I was very much into health, I was 24 & went ahead & got saline implants thinking they were safe, 2wks later I started having dizzy spells, anxiety, a feeling of weakness, burning zaps all thruout, fatigue, red eyes, head sensations etc etc I had my implants out 6 months later & its now been 1yr post explant & I'm back to my normal old healthy self. Just wanted to share that it doesn't matter how sick or healthy you are prior to implants, it can go either way. Guest guest
I wonder if the stress (and poor diet) of law school escallated my health problems. I was jogging before law school. ON the other hand, I had a mammgram just before I started, which I think either ruptured or further ruptured 20-yr old implants. I guess I will never know. > Melinda, > > I can't say whether or not anyone has recovered > without explant . . . > > However, it's been my observation that the women who > an observe excellent diet, exercise, and stress > management program do tolerate their implants > considerably longer than others. > > To me, it makes sense that if you give your body every > break to repair itself, you would do much better. > However, IMHO, you would just be treading water . . . > kinda like running up the down esculator! > > It's simply not worth the risk! . . . > > I've also noticed that women who begin taking very > good care of themselves before explant bounce back > much more quickly. > > Hugs and prayers, > > Rogene
Guest guest
That was my experience too....I was totally into health before I got implants. I took vitamins religiously, ate a good diet, was a picture of health with an immune system that fought off every bug that came near me (I didn't get colds or flu or anything, EVER. The last time I had been sick was 10 years prior to getting implants.) In fact, it could be just the opposite--that those who take very good care of themselves have an immune system that reacts immediately.
