Guest guest
Hi Bei, I hope this group can offer you some suggestions. May I ask whether the zyto test that showed this issue is one that can only be done by MP or would Tami be able to do this ?? I did one recently with Tami and saw nothing to do with type of testing. Thanks na > > Dear All, > > My son Alan( 12 years old, severe autistic) did the first Zyto with MP. There are 3 major problems : > > 1) Imflammation in the PIA Mater in his brain. Guest guest
In the past when I asked parents of non-responders about all that they have tried, they listed either no or very little treatment towards bacteria and protozoa. Thus, I think these areas are under-treated in general amongst the DAN-type treatments. Recently, zinc has been heralded as a way to get non-responders to come around. Search out " KPU " to learn more about it. Enhansa is a strong anti-inflammatory. MP has a very good reputation for decreasing autism symptoms, so give it a go, and see what happens. I think that finding out about the bacteria is a very good start. Now you know what to target. Love and prayers, Heidi N > > Dear All, > > My son Alan( 12 years old, severe autistic) did the first Zyto with MP. There are 3 major problems : > > 1) Imflammation in the PIA Mater in his brain. Guest guest
I, personally, am against Ibuprofen. I think using it for a few days to combat high fever is likely ok, if that is all one feels will work. We currently use Pau d' arco for fever. Ibuprofen damaged my intestinal lining. I took it for a couple of months, and only a dose a day, and not even every day, and then my abdomen remained sore and swollen and sensitive. I could no longer consume spicey foods, nor anything irritating to my intestinal lining. That was about 18 years ago, and I still can't. If you look up Ibuprofen side effects, you will find it does have severe side effect possibilities. Thus, I am not for it. But, I think I would use it in extreme cases if I had to, but not for more than 3 days in a row. There are many things being used for inflammation in the autism and Lyme arena. Turmeric (Enhansa) is one, as well as Cat's Claw (Samento). Both of these can also cause lots of die-off, so one would have to go low and slow. Cod liver oil is also considered and anti-inflammatory. There are also others. Ask your practitioner about some choices that fit in with your child's treatment plan. Love and prayers, Heidi N > > > > Just an idea of possibly using curcumin in high doses for the brain inflammation, our daughter used 1,500 mg a day but I know children who have taken double that. one capsule, three times a day. Out of the cap Jarrow's curcumin 95 tastes better (curcumin is the same as turmeric). Plus since curcumin chelates iron, we gave homeopathic ferrum phos with it, which is a homeopathic iron supplement. > > > > Also if anyone wants to see my children's two protocols written out, I put them on the notes to my facebook, under Nichols Webber Axe, and or I can email them to you if you send a request, (they are long). > > > > For me, when I began to treat mycoplasma, I started having seizures so I am not doing that until I have finished working on other coinfections first. I think part of the problem was that I had not treated other things first. But for you, it looks like you have done a lot first, and the morgellanella and Mycoplasma are left. That is quite an accomplishment. You are much farther than i am and I would be interested to know what you end up doing for those because I have a healthy respect for the difficulty of treating those. I'd almost say wow, what will happen when you resolve those and I am not completely familiar with your protocols but what worked for our son was andy culter chelation mixed with zinc loading such as Dr. K's KPU protocol only using andy culter chelation instead of the chelators he used. > > > > By the way, I used a rife machine to treat my Mycoplasma, and if you do start out with one second and take it very seriously, the dieoff from that is a lot. > > > > > > >
Guest guest
Isa: I see protozoa as a definite problem in the autism arena, but it appears that there are several different ones, Babesia, Toxoplasmosis, and I think there are even species not yet identified. Heck, I still see news reports of frogs, bugs, etc. being found not yet identified, so there is still much we don't know yet. I think deworming and antiprotozoan attempts in general are good. I have used several things, and it appears that each one worked a little; thus, making me feel that I had several different ones and/or stubborn, hard to rid ones. I still think I am full of Babesia, but lower levels. I have used healing foods, herbs, and homeopathy so far. Guest guest
I agree about the unwanted side effects. I used to take quite a bit of ibuprofen for back pain. Suddenly I started to get these terribly itchy welts on my arms when they were exposed to the sun (I've been in the sun my entire life, never had problems before). Turns out ibuprofen can cause sun sensitivity. I know a lot of us try to get our kids in the sun for vitamin D so please be careful about using ibuprofen during the sunny months! Guest guest
My husband does home theater and he worked for a lawyer, a very educated person who said to remove all ibuprofen products from the house and not to use them because of all the lawsuits and medical disasters he had seen with it, so we would use aleve, but I only use that when I am treating plantar warts on the kids. It's not my favorite thing for inflammation, but naproxen (aleve) can be gotten by prescription from a doctor in a liquid form for children, and that is what is commonly used for arthritis/eye inflammation. My daughter's Rheumatologist, Dr. Lyndsley at KU Med wrote textbooks and papers on the use of naproxen for inflammation.
Guest guest
Thank you, Heidi , and anyone, I will stop the idea to use Ibuptofer for safe side. Guest guest
My son and I both do great with ibuprfen... didnt know it crosses the blood brain barrier... my doc said she would share with me how we could protect our stomach/gi from the side effects, when I hear I will share.... cant do tumeric due to high phenol and cats claw is contraindicated in people with low cholesterol since it lowers choleterol... so that is out for us as well, we both have low cholesterol and are trying to raise it (both have low hormones, insulin, adrenals due to this). anyone have a good pancreatic product to share .... deborah > > > > > > > > Just an idea of possibly using curcumin in high doses for the brain inflammation, our daughter used 1,500 mg a day but I know children who have taken double that. one capsule, three times a day. Guest guest
juiced celery is excellent for brain inflammation caused by bacterial translocation. Google it, it is scientifically proven to work. Jen > > Dear All, > > My son Alan( 12 years old, severe autistic) did the first Zyto with MP. Guest guest
celery juice....do we leave most of the oxalates behind in the roughage? Â we're better in the oxalate department, but asparagus really stirs up the pee pee poking...but then there is the good news, he found his pee pee a few years back and gets baby boners. Â no where else could i print this...but i used to ask the docs that i thought that it was odd that he didn't get "baby hard ons' or whatever you want to call it and they just blew it off... lisa
