Guest guest
Hi everyone! I haven't been posting for awhile, but have been reading the email summaries. Has anyone talked to Dawn anymore? I had surgery a month ago, but I re-implanted. I'm happy to say, I am feeling much better. I had my capsules & 11 y/o salines removed & salines replaced under muscle. Thought I'd stop by and say " Hello! " Hope I'm still welcome here! Guest guest
Hi Cheryl, I'm relieved to know you are feeling so much better. If I remember correctly, you were desperately ill before you had your implants removed. I hope you do better with your new implants. After our experience, we'll probably continue worrying about you, so please stay in touch! What did you do to get better? Are you following any particular protocol to stay well now? Dawn was around last week . . . You might want to go back through the messages. She was sounding pretty good! Hugs, Rogene
Guest guest
Through the last 14 years of being a support group leader, I cannot tell you how many times women have had their silicone implants removed and replaced with saline and felt better initially. Within a period of a year (give or take), symptoms return. So, be aware and watch. If they return, the only thing to do to stop them is to remove the saline implants. I have heard from hundreds of women who did not believe this, only to call back when they had symptoms again. Guest guest
I have heard that too Lynda. When I explanted (april 2004) I said no more implants of any kind. I was so sick I just wanted to feel better. I didn't even care how I looked. Fortunately, my surgeon (Dr. Kolb) did a good job and I am not deformed at all. > >Hi Cheryl, > > > >I'm relieved to know you are feeling so much better. > >If I remember correctly, you were desperately ill > >before you had your implants removed.
