Guest guest
Hi everyone, I haven't been on for a week or so...my skin is acting up again I'm SO tired of dealing with these sores and the scarring is getting to me. I thought the cleanse I was on was at first making it worse, then it got better & now it's back again. I saw a bunch of posts about skin rashes, but I haven't found anything that works. Been on Nystatin and was on Diflucan since 2/05 when I saw Dr. Kolb, but they never really helped. Seems the sores start in my nose, then mouth, then to my skin. Thinking back, the low dose steroids I was on for 6 months helped, but gained 20lbs. in 6 months and haven't been able to get those lbs back off yet, so not sure I want to go that route again for both physical & cosmetic reasons. Sorry I'm rambling...just needed to get it off my chest. Thanks, Cheryl
Guest guest
Cheryl, I probably am asking something you already have said, but...have you seen a rheumatologist or dermatologist about these? > Hi everyone, > I haven't been on for a week or so...my skin is acting up again > I'm SO tired of dealing with these sores and the scarring is getting to > me. Guest guest
Hi Cheryl, I’m so sorry to hear your skin problems are worse again. I wanted to let you know that it was actually low dose steroids that gave my son acne, so be careful if you decide to go that route. It had something to do with altering his hormones. Guest guest
Cheryl I am sorry to hear that. Your symptoms sound somewhat like lupus. Have you been tested for that? I have been trying some new products that I am very happy with but have been waiting to give them a fair try before mentioning them. But it is worth a try. They are called Miracle 2 products and they say they help with all kinds of skin problems. You can wash anything and everything in their miracle soap--all of you and all of your house and pets. the neutralizer is good for all kinds of detox and skin conditions, cleaning, etc. It is entirely organic nontoxic in and out of your body. So far I have used it for cleaning and for bathing and washing my hair and everything else. It makes my hair very nice and my skin soft. I have used the neutralizer on my skin and taken internally. It appears to be making my keratosis less noticeable. It is supposed to be able to make them go away over time. I have just been using internally for a week but it says people have felt it helps with all kinds of problems. At the very least, it is a very good safe nontoxic shampoo, body wash, cleanser, and laundry detergent. But it may be alot more than that. I bought mine from appleadayandbeyond.com whom I have dealt with for years. There are other places on the internet and a better explanation of this product. Hope you feel better soon love, kathy --- In , " Cheryl " <sunbum256@a...> wrote: > Hi everyone, > I haven't been on for a week or so...my skin is acting up again > I'm SO tired of dealing with these sores and the scarring is getting to > me. Guest guest
Cheryl, Have you tried cleaning the sores with a 3% hydrogen peroxide solution? That would kill bacteria. Or Clay baths? That would draw toxins out of your skin. Rogene
Guest guest
I'm new to this site and I don't really know the history of your sores, but I just wanted to say that my nephew had that problem with sores in his nose and then they started to spread and after a bunch of tests we found out that he had strep that had turned into I believe it was a staph infection because the strep had not been treated. He didn't have a sore throat at all though. This may have nothing to do with your problems, but I thought I would share anyway. Hope it helps someone. --- In , " Cheryl " <sunbum256@a...> wrote: > Hi everyone, > I haven't been on for a week or so...my skin is acting up again > I'm SO tired of dealing with these sores and the scarring is getting to > me. Guest guest
Cheryl, Since you have been reimplanted, have you considered whether or not the implants are the source of your problem? As long as you have the implants in you, you may always be dealing with these sores. They could be toxins trying to make their way out, but it could also be a sign of a more serious autoimmune condition, such as lupus. Have you been tested for this? The fact that the steroids helped you is a clue that there is some type of disease process going on. Prednisone is a quite toxic drug, but it does a miraculous job of quieting down an overactive immune system. And you are right! It packs on the pounds almost every time. sure don't want to be on that for long. I hope you find answers that are easy and work well. I just get very concerned knowing that you still have those implants. Some women can seem to tolerate them, but at what cost? Best wishes, Patty > > > Hi everyone, > > I haven't been on for a week or so...my skin is acting up again > > I'm SO tired of dealing with these sores and the scarring is > getting to > > me.
