Guest guest
Straight tea tree oil works well for some, as well as straight lavender oil. My son has terrible acne right now from taking steroids following horrible poison ivy. My ND recommended he try the following: 1. Saw Palmetto/Pygeum/Nettles: 2 caps with breakfast and 2 with supper 2. Vit. A 25,000u caps: 1 cap twice daily, with food 3. Berbercap: 1 cap three times daily, with food 4. Go online and order: ProActiv facial treatment. The ProActiv is helping a lot, after just two days. He started the supplements tonight. Kenda Does anyone know of a natural acne cure that really works. I started getting the acne all over my body one month after implant, i thought after explant this would go away but it is just as bad and it hurts. I dont want to go back on Doxycycline but i have tried other stuff and it isnt working. Could my skin problems be fungal? My ND has given me liver cleansers for 2 years now but nothing helps. Any suggestions? Opinions expressed are NOT meant to take the place of advice given by licensed health care professionals. Guest guest
I'm still in the same boat, although the acne is only on my chest/back. My massage therapist last night noticed it & said to try drinking aloe vera gel. She recommended the brand Forever Living. So i will try that & see if that helps me. Guest guest
--Thats where mine is too. I just dont understand it and oh my god its frustrating. I tried drinking the aloe a while back, it didnt help me unless i just wasnt drinking enough, i also have been using the tea tree oil for 2 years now but it eventually started to loose its potency on my skin. - In , " cnjcramer " <cnjcramer@y...> wrote: > I'm still in the same boat, although the acne is only on my > chest/back. Guest guest
At 51, I still battle acne! I have found Vitamin A to be a godsend. Zinc, also. I did not know about saw palmetto/nettles or berbercap. Dont know what berbercap is! I'll have to look into this. Generally, sufficient Vit A keeps mine in check. > Straight tea tree oil works well for some, as well as straight lavender oil. > My son has terrible acne right now from taking steroids following horrible > poison ivy. Guest guest
I have to agree with the Proactiv, too, for acne & pimples. I thought that is what I have had, but my eruptions are much different & painful, too. I've had this SO BAD for past three yrs, I had to leave my nursing job, due to the open sores all over my body. Dr. Kolb thought it was fungal/yeast, but I was on antifungals oral & creams since 2/05 and it was getting worse each outbreak. In fact, the past two weeks have been some of my worst sores. I started to put it together with my bowel health (when I would become constipated) and more sores. Two weeks ago, I started a 7 day full body cleanse program, at first, my skin went crazy (I was ready to give up on skin cure). Now, near the end of the week and starting 1st week after cleanse, my skin is completely clear. Can't say for sure this worked, only time will tell, but my skin hasn't been sore free for a very long time. Just my experience! Guest guest
Hi Cheryl, Have you read The Maker’s Diet? What you say makes perfect sense according to the book. Dr. Rubin believes that the root of most disease is in the gut. I’m glad you’re doing better. Kenda I have to agree with the Proactiv, too, for acne & pimples. Guest guest
There is another astounding example of the importance of bowel cleansing and of the value of intestinal cleansing in Dr. Bernard Jensen's book " Guide to Better Bowel Care " . This snippet of information was so important to me that I marked it with a book marker and made notes about Dr. Carrel on it. I will share with you what it says so you can catch the importance of it! " It is more than likely that toxemia and subsequent pathology result from the absorption of certain chemicals formed by the bacterial action on certain amino acids. Carrel, MD, a noted French surgeon and winner of the Nobel Prize for physiology and medicine in 1912, clearly demonstrated the relationship in an experiment involving the hearts of chicken embryos. The French-born physician and biochemist was working at the Rockefeller Institute for Medical Research in New York when he places microslices of heart tissue from a chicken embryo on microscope slides and performed one of the most remarkable experiments in medical history. He attempted to demonstrate that under suitable conditions, the living cell could survive for a lvery long time, perhaps indefinitely. The tissues on the slides were rinsed daily in a solution from which they obtained the necessary nutrients and in which they deposited their wastes. Every day, the solution was changed. It is amazing to report that these tissue cells survived for twenty nine (29) years in this fashion. They died one day only because the laboratory assistant neglected to rinse them with fresh nutrient solution. In other words, autointoxication claimed this greaet masterpiece of experimental scientific investigation. Said Dr. Carrel of this experience, " The cell is immortal. It is merely the fluid in which it floats which degenerates. Renew this fluid at intervals, give the cell something upon which to feed and, so far as we know, the pulsation of life may go on forever. " Dr. Carrel's experiment was just one example of how putrefactive waste products cause pathological conditions. " The book carries many other examples of clinical research and findings by doctors of the detrimental effects of intestinal toxemia and autointoxication. The point is this: the bowel is a source of toxic waste and must be emptied regularly! Two to three times a day, and those with chronic constipation are setting themselves up for trouble. Therein lies the value of the enema. And Dr. Max Gerson had great, great success with the coffee enema. Toxicity is the key here. We need to be very proactive in keeping our bodies functioning efficiently. The experiement with the chicken heart cells just blew me away. Chickens don't live 29 years! It is amazing that the cells could live that long! And the only thing that they needed was waste removal and nutrients. Go and apply this knowledge to your life! Guest guest
--- Yes i would also like to know the cleanse. I have tried colon therapy but i was told you need to go quite often at first to get it going and it gets expensive at first. When i have the money i will definitly go that route. Also, i have an enema but i didnt want to become dependent on that, can u do that everyday or everyother with out dependency. I have had bowel problems ever since i had my daughter three years ago, i wonder if this is the route of my problem. Guest guest
Properly done, enemas shouldn't cause a dependency on them. Being irregular can definitely be part of the problem. . . I'd suggest upping your Magnesium intake to get regular. . . We all need more than our diet provides. Just be sure to take two parts Calcium to every one part Magnesium. Garden of Life has an excellent Calcium-Magnesium product. Rogene --- auw_bree <auw_bree@...> wrote: > --- Yes i would also like to know the cleanse.
