Guest guest
Thank you Lana. This is definitely something to think about! - Rogene ------------------------------ The Judge in the class action lawsuit made a ruling that people in independent lawsuits can only be compensated for " LOCAL INJURIES " . This ruling means that in an individual lawsuit (not the class action) you " CAN NOT " be compensated for any other illnesses caused by the implants. Therefore, none of our kids are going to be compensated for their illnesses UNLESS we can PROVE they have injuries caused by the silicone i.e. the silicone must show up in their bodies for it to be a local injury. The only way to have that ruling overturned is to prove that the silicone is migrating to the children through breast milk and or as in my children's case, through the placenta. Then you would have proof of local injury. This would also prove that the silicone is migrating throughout the implanted woman's body, and anywhere the silicone travels through the body would then be considered local injuries. To date there have been TWO x-ray machines that would show the tiny particles of silicone outside the implant area. The xerogrammography (silicones shows up bright white) and the vibrational spectoctromy (silicone shows up RED). Both of these x-ray machines have been replaced and up dated with new equipment that " WON " T " show the migrated silicone. I'm not sure if I am spelling vibrational spectoctromy, right maybe someone else knows. I read a paper once from a student at the OSU and he claimed that when he placed his girlfriend under that machine the silicone was spread throughout her body and it showed up BRIGHT RED. I am not surprised that those two x-ray machines were replaced. Are any of you? I hope this information is helpful. So far we have not been able to prove without a doubt that the silicone is causing all of our medical problem so we need proof that can not be disputed. I saw my xerogramography (the " key piece of evidence " that turned up missing before my trial and after my doctors accidental death) and believe me when I tell you that NO one can argue with those x-rays. What they show is REAL and no one can twist it or put a spin on them. The pictures speak for themselves. I have searched for almost ten years now to find a copy of a xerogramography x-ray of a ruptured implant and guess what with ALL of the women I've met and spoken with in this past 10 years NOT ONE has had their xerogramography that showed their ruptured implant. Doesn't anyone think that's curious? Some women have their implants, some have other x-rays but I haven't met anyone yet who is in possession of this VERY damaging x-ray. Now, a " displacement mammography " will show the silicone migrated behind the implant so why haven't they made an x-ray machine exactly like it that extends past the breast and will also show the migrated silicone throughout the body? Hmm... I wonder. The MRI's DON " T show the migrated silicone, CAT SCANS DON " T show the migrated silicone and that's the equipment the FDA's research study is using to determine whether or not the implants are safe! That is one of the main reasons these new implants might be approved. The tests that Mentor is using to show rupture and migration, " DON " T WORK " . Ask you doctors to give you an MRI to see if you have migrated silicone gel and they will tell you, " IT DOESN " T SHOW UP, it's to minute especially once it's covered in scar tissue " i.e. granulomas. In my opinion, developing x-ray equipment that shows the minute particles of silicone gel and shows where the silicone is migrating too is the best and maybe the only way to answer a lot of the questions that have arisen about what damages are caused by the silicone. Once we prove that the silicone " is " spreading through the body the FDA will have to removed the silicone gel filled implants off the market and we will be in a better position to DEMAND the type of research and medical aid that we deserve. It's kind of like what I said before, " If you have three kids horsing around in a room and someone spills a can of pop and they all say, " It wasn't me, I wasn't even over there then pointing at their brother they shout, " He was! " Unless you saw who did it or you have real proof of who actually spilled it you can't really know who did it for sure. If you saw it happen though then the culprit would not be able to lie to you and they would not be in a position to blame it on someone or in our case, something else! Get it? What we should focus on is raising money to start a contest that would pay the first person that developed a full bodied x-ray machine that shows migrated silicone past the implant site. The winner would receive the grand prize. A contest like this would stir up a lot of " FREE MEDIA PUBLICITY " through public services announcements and it would encourage people to apply for research grants in order to gain the prize monies. If you want to make somebody nervous just start a world wide contest like this one and see what happens! I have been trying to get something like this started but I am not qualified to do the paper work that's involved with running a contest like this. I have the time. I have the energy and the will. I just don't have the knowledge and skills to fill out all those forms. If anyone is interested in helping me with the forms please let me know. Thank you for letting me share, Lana
