Re: Natural acne cure--Anita?

For those of you with acne issues, there may be several approaches

besides the supplements, such as food elimination. Dairy is a big

one that promotes acne in some people, and I am talking about

regular, pasteurized, homogenized milk that you find at the grocery

store. Raw milk is a different story. So, you might want to try

avoiding all dairy for awhile and see if that helps.

I hope Anita will answer this question, as her son had problems

with acne that totally cleared up with the protocol that she was

following (I think it was the Kane protocol), and the raw

milk was a part of that. Also, supplementation with essential fatty

acids, such as evening primrose oil would be good. Anita, let us

know--I remember talking to you about your son and thought you had

such good news!

then didn't use

it. ;-(

discoid or scle?

my dermatologist thought I might have scle (subcutaneous lupus) because of rash

and lab

tests with high 'anit-smith' antibodies that are specific for lupus. My

rheumatologist

finally concluded I have SLE.

I still think a lot of the rash I had is related to fungus & candida. I had a

couple different

kinds of rashes though. The rash that bothered me the most - itched and oozed

(yich) -

went away when Dr. Kolb treated me with nystantin (then diflucan when my liver

enzymes

went down to normal). I am back on nystantin now, and am just recently

beginning to

take Primal defense again, and get back on Kolb's protocol. I really want to

figure out how

I can start detoxing. I guess i need to do some reading.

That is what happened with me too, Lea. My old rheumatologist first said I had

lupus or

sjogrens. Then (after I found out I had ruptured implants & told him),

suddently I had

neither. I went to the University rheumatologist who told me that I do have

lupus, and

explained that the antibodies like anti-SSA and anti- go up and down from

test to

test. I had high anti-SSA one time and high anti- another time. The only

thing that

remained constant was an ANA of 1:320.
