Oh Lea, thank you for sharing. It is one of the things i love most

about this group. I am praying that you will get well enough to

have that fixed too. Your is such a wonderful, loving man.

He loves you so much and takes good care of you. That is the way it

is supposed to be---to love others the way God loved us first.

love, kathy

I think our self image is largely based on what " playboy " created.

and Many women feel that there is something wrong with our bodies

and that men won't desire us unless we are playboy perfect. But I

have talked to many many men and they say yeah they love to look at

the women in those magazine but 95% of them prefer a real women.

They like the flaws, they are not disapointed, if they love you so

much to say they want to spend the rest of their lives with you and

you have small or no breasts, then they are telling you they love

what they see. We have low selfesteem and that is what kills a

relationship. Men love confidence and they find it sexier than any

model. My mother in law made a choice to have her breasts removed all

the women in her family died of breast cancer and before she even

had a lump she and her husbadn discussed and then had a masectomy.

He loves her no matter what and he loves to see her nude despite the

fact she has nothing but a large scar on both sides of her chest, he

is very open about it and is so happy to have her alive and healthy

with him. We are all going to age and there are many tings that will

happen to our bodies that is far worse than having no breasts. Would

you find your husband less desirable if he lost part of his manhood?

Don't cheat him out of seeing what he thinks is beautiful, go to

counceling if you need help coping but it has to hurt him so bad for

him not to be able to see or touch the woman he loves and to watch

you fall into such a deep selfhatred. I am afraid too of what my

husband will think of me after explant but he has assured me no

matter what he will always love me and find me beautiul.

You could be right for some women. I didn’t want to be playboy like. It was pretty comical, when I tried on different implant sizes in my bra at the plastic surgeon’s office, they all looked too large. What I was looking for was youth, not size. I equated nice round breasts with youth. At 45, I control how the rest of my body looks with diet, yoga and exercise but they don’t work much for breast tissue. Pec exercises give the illusion of cleavage but that isn’t the same thing as a breast. My yoga teacher talked to me one day about implants because he knew I was considering them. He told me first off, to phone him if I ever found myself sitting in a plastic surgeon’s office ready to get them so he could come “rescue” me. He told me that he absolutely did not like implants (he’s single), he doesn’t like the artificial look or the artificial feel. They are hard and cold and very unnatural. I had never felt an implanted woman before so I had no idea, I always imagined they felt totally natural to both the implanted woman and the man. Since talking with him, I have been told by several men that they much prefer a natural breast to an implant for the same reasons. Men may like to look at women with implants but most don’t seem to want their wife or girlfriend to be implanted. My husband was dead set against implants but I nearly did it anyway.

That is so true about men liking the feel over the size, I too have

asked many men and they say the implants look good but they prefer

the feel of a natrual breast. I was also not trying to imply women

want to look like playboy models exactly but that it seems to have

defined what is sexy which is breasts...however I have recently

noticed that there are a lot of B cups on the playboy website and

thereis even one 30A cup! I was rather impressed.
