from Lany ... we are also in contact with her cousin, Cheryl, now in

Houston.

We are all still praying to hear from her soon and that she is safe

& sound.

Philip is adorable, Jo Ann! I know you are so proud of him.

The hurricane is going to hit us head on. It is as if it picked our

house to hit. I'm so afraid, and we don't have the finances or know

anywhere we could go. All my family has passed away exceot ,

Daddy, and Malyssa. I'm really scared, Sis. It's going to be so hot

afterward, if we survive am afterward/ I don't know if the hospital

will accept both Daddu and myself.

If you listen to the news, we are right off of the mouth of the Pearl

River and the mouth of the MS River about thirty miles from from New

Orleans. It could hit our house any more directly than if it were

planned! 145 mph--looks like we are going to lose another house. I

just

hope we survive it, kitties and all. If I don't, please know that I

love you deeply. I never knew two ppl could become so close without

having even seeing eachother. You've been such a good friend, and I

appreciate it immensely. Thanks for everything!

We are now in God's hands, and I pray for mercy.
