I think that poem captures your frustation and anger well!

Especially the part about Becker. It gave me my laugh for the day.

Yes, we all had a good laugh at it when I wrote it. And we desperately

needed something to laugh at at that hearing. And we were majorly

frustrated. I wrote this when the manufacturers were testifying, and

particularly when Becker was testifying. Someone made sure he got a copy.

When you get through with this I will be more infamous at the FDA than I

already am.

Glad you enjoyed it Lea.

I do not consider that one of my better efforts. I will sometime send a

few more that I really think are good.

Lea, this is one of the poems I really like.

Lynda

DREAMS

by Lynda Roth

Illuminated by the light of time

And the wisdom of time past

Wrapped in the hopes and cares and fears

Of dreams that didn't last.

Dreams that caused my hopes to soar

No reality could defeat

Dreams that set my heart on fire

Helped make my life complete.

Dreams by which I planned my life

With work to see them through

Allowed me to yet plan more dreams

With love that life renewed.

But dreams can have a darker side

When somehow they don't last

Can rip your very soul apart

When long-held dreams are dashed.

This warning sounds both clear and loud

For, in truth, I know the cost.

Be wary of dreams you have wished

Be careful of dreams you have lost.

I am glad you like it. I wrote it at a hard time in my life. I am sure

you can tell that.

Thank you Rogene. As I told Lea, this was a very rough time in my life

when I wrote this. Seems I do my best work when my life is in turmoil.
