Guest guest
I had a hysterectomy at 27 and other than a few problems with getting my hormones regulated I have never been sorry I had one.
Guest guest
Mindi, I was meaning for the young girl who was 24. I am happy I had my surgery. It was the best thing I could have done. I have felt the best in the world also. NC -- Hysterectomies - I just had to reply to your note. I have to disagree with what you said about the hysterectomy and "having a life in front of you". I had to have a hysterectomy 2 years ago and I have never felt better. I don't mean to sound like I'm flaming you, I'm not, I understand how different people have different ideas of what a hysterectomy means to them, but I was so grateful that I felt better! I also realize it would be hard if you're young and have no children, but there always other options. I just wanted to put my 2 cents in, hope I don't offend anyone. Mindi Re: Re: Muscles - extremely tender to the touch I am 44 now, but I had severe cramps from the time I started to the year of 97. The only thing that helped me was the pill, but then I got to the point I could not take that again. I heard that having a baby would make it get better. Well, in my case it did not phase it. I did not have endometiosis. So, in 97 they did a partial hyster. I hope that does not have to come to that for you. You are still young and have a life ahead of you. Good Luck! Guest guest
- That's fine. I thought that's what you probably meant, but so many people have a negative opinion of hysterectomies, it's not always bad. I didn't intend to sound like I was giving you personally a bad time. ;-) Mindi Re: Re: Muscles - extremely tender to the touch I am 44 now, but I had severe cramps from the time I started to the year of 97. Guest guest
I also had a hysterectomy 2 years ago and other than getting my hormones regulated I haven't had any problems. It was the best thing for me. I did have endometriosis and from start to end all kinds of problems in that area. I am really glad I don't have to go through it monthly any more Deanna Re: Re: Muscles - extremely tender to the touch I am 44 now, but I had severe cramps from the time I started to the year of 97.
