Guest guest
I keep reading about these biopsy procedures. None of them sound anything like mine. Each time I read about it, I am reinforced in my decision not to go back to the same hospital where I had the first one. I was on my left side, they went in through the right side through what seemed like a bone/rib spacer and took three samples. I had no pain med. I repeat, everybody who is going to have one, make sure you don't have one like my first one. Except for the fact that they say to take one from the inside while they are doing something else isn't as accurate, that is the way I would go if I could. My second one was that way. Didn't know I had it until the doctor told me he had done a biopsy while doing gall bladder surgery. Needless to say, I thanked him. Guest guest
Jan, I have never heard of going in from the right side. Oh gosh, that had to have been horribly painful! I don't blame you, I wouldn't go back there either! Hugs......
