Thank you Barby.  I have to say, I already KNOW Hospice ws the right move.  It

is so good to know there is someone available to me 24/7 if I have questions or

concerns.  Hope you guys are doing well.  Love you!

Hugs........

Diane

> Hey everybody!  Wow, it is good to be home!  I have been trying to

catch up on my rest and finally feel better!  Terry is breathing much

better, but is absolutely zapped.  His care following the procedure

was not what it should have been.  They did no IV electrolite

replacement, no albumin, nothing.  It won't happen again though, we

have taken care of that!

Hospice Home Care.  She was an absolutely wonderful woman whom I love

already.  The nurse will visit tomorrow to do her initial assesment

and then will visit at least once weekly and more often as needed.  I

now have a 24/7 emergency contact number which is a great relief to

me.

are due to arrive tomorrow.  Many of his previous meds have been

discontinued.  He is on about one half of the meds he was formerly on

which makes it so much easier for him to take his meds now.

weeks.  At that time, they will order the procedure, make the

arrangements and and he will go for the procedure and come home in

the same day.  They will also pre-order an IV to replace albumin and

electrolites before he leaves the hospital.  This is just going to be

so much easier on Terry and on me.  I am already feeling the relief

of having help available.

> Thank you all for your prayers and support.  This has been a

difficult couple of days, but I feel better about where we are right

now because of the Hospice care.  Terry was not crazy about the idea

of Hospice visits, but he said after the Case Manager was here that

he really liked her and that he hoped the nurse would be as nice.

So, I see him already being more comfortable with it.  I am so

relieved and happy about that!

> Got to run now. I love you guys and I am so thankful to have you

all here to talk to.  I don't know if I could have made it through

these last several months without your love and support.  I know our

journey is going to get harder, but I also know I have you all to

turn to.  I thank the Lord every day for that.
