Guest guest
Hello I have read the book GOOYM & IYL and done most of the exercises from it, although I did not give it enough time (took about a week). Now I am planning to start over and do all the exercises in a gradual manner giving it all the time it takes. Along with it I am also planning to do the exercises from the book by L. Gardner, " The Psychology of Enhancing Human Performance " . I have been doing meditation for quite some time but never connected it to the performance aspect. All these new mindfulness exercises I have learned are quite interesting and have brought a new perspective to my meditation. The path of Mindfulness, Acceptance & Commitment resonates with me, my only concern is about the DIY (do it yourself) aspect of my approach. I would like to get some feed back & maybe some reassurance about if this can be done on my own the DIY way, of course, with the help from this list/group I would also like to know if there are any ACT Consultants/Psychiatrist I can approach, in India (better still if in Maharashtra-Pune/Mumbai region) Thanks Raja
Guest guest
Hello Vijay It is nice to know you. I checked out your website. It was interesting to know that you have done your MBA before taking up Psychology. Maybe one day we will get to read your book about this journey from IIM Ahmadabad to being a Licensed Psychologist working with ACT. Regards Raja > > Hi Raja, > > I live in Portland, Oregon, US.
