Guest guest
Hi Lou, I have to admit I'm not really sure what you are asking. Can you expound a bit? Helena Changes in Hearing Often I find myself engaging in a quick analysis of things. Since starting therapy, I have been writing them down and I wondered if you guys, everyone with their own cognitive and physical abilities, would expand on this simple analysis of hearing...Cognitive StatesNormal: different levels of soundAltered states: detail (lots of sounds interacting)Dissociation: noise (loud)Stimulation: riddled with internal noise (extremes - Heightened to illegible).Deep thinking (also daydreaming): deaf (the zone: a brain switch like when you're so drunk that you forget parts of the night before).I know it is very elementry and self-specific so thats why I want to get more perspectives.Lou
Guest guest
I do notice a change in " listening " - not only for myself but for others. It ranges from only listening and remembering all the negative or all the positives to total tune out where you retain nothing of what's being said.
