Guest guest
Hello everyone, I have been through several weeks of tests, all normal except the positive lupus ana, and antiphospholipid syndrome. I am losing my mind with my chest pain, fatigue and all but ONE doctor believing it is in my head. I saw a Rheumatologist today that said she didn't believe I had lupus but that maybe it is costochondritis related to the implants? Or that I just don't recover well from upper respiratory infections that quick (it's been five months just with these set of symptoms!). I wanted to know if anyone had any ideas about how to start a support group in my area? I would love to hear a voice or see a face of someone I could relate to. I appreciate the support I have received from all of you here... Thanks, Carol
Guest guest
Carol, A support group sounds wonderful. Contact your local TV, radio stations, and newspaper. Don't take " No " for an answer. Get as many interviews as possible. Insist they hear you out! Find a place to meet - a church perhaps? and get going! We used have groups that physically met . . . I don't know that any of them are still in place. But, with the new " crop " of women coming along, there's going to be an even greater need for support groups!
