Guest guest
Bless you Rogene for your info, I will try that because I feel like I need a lot of support right now; my insurance company denied my PS' letter for removal approval. I feel like like should appeal, but maybe it would just be better to do it quietly and scrap-up the money on my own? Thanks for the advice... Guest guest
Carol Mine also denied my PS's request so I DID scrape up the money and do it.... then I sent them to Dr. Blais and appealed - then appealed three more times and won. It is not an easy process and is rather stressful but Dr. blais' report along with a letter from my explanting surgeon saying that he noted that one implant had 30cc's less fluid and had mold/tissue growth in the valve cassing it to leak won my appeal.... sadly sometimes you have to prove the issue with more than a doctor request... I was horrible coming up with the money in advance and we had to max out a card and borrow the rest but it was worth it... the whole process took maybe 8-9 months from the explant to the insurance payment back to me when I won my appeal... May I ask what ins co you have? good luck! shari
