Hi Rogene,

I read about coconut oil on the site you provided as well as Mercola’s site. They claim it to be healthier than olive oil. Is that true? I always thought olive oil was the best choice, then canola. There was mention that it helped people stay full longer. That is true of any fat. I add nuts to my breakfast smoothie every morning because I stay full much longer. What does it do specifically for yeast? I haven’t found any mention of that on the website yet.

Very interesting! Thank you!

Kenda

Kenda,

Check http://www.tropicaltraditions.com/ for CO

information.

It's a very healthy oil (although it's a saturated

fat).

Kenda,

I don't remember where I read about it's antifungal

properties. Rubin?

I do know that, when one first starts using it, the

stomach goes through the same feelings as when one

starts treating Candida.

I've recommended it to more that one person who, after

using it for the first time, will NEVER try it again.

It's another one of those products you want to ease

into - just in case!

I saw where one man survived for months on one of the

islands hit by a Tsunami on coconuts he gathered. He

was completely healthy when they found him.

Love,

Rogene

I heard about the Coconut oil from one of our members that no longer is around.... I called the company she ordered it from and they went into great detail on the antifungal purposes of coconut oil and fighting yeast, etc. I will try to find the name of who I ordered it from...

I know i also found good info on a google search a while back on the oil and yeast/candida fighting. I need to start taking it again...

Sounds like I need to take it too. I’ll be talking to Dr. Leu in the next day or two. I’ll have to get his thoughts on it.

I've been using coconut oil for a couple years now. Wouldn't be

without it! There's tons of info out there about the benefits of

coconut oil, especially for those with thyroid issues.

I only use a few fats and oils anymore....olive oil for cooking and

with meals, organic coconut oil for baking (sometimes walnut oil if

coconut oil won't work well), and organic butter for serving with

meals. Flaxseed oil (from the seeds) and fish oil for supplements.

That's it. And everything is stored in black or dark bottles in dark

places.

All other oils I consider to be questionable, especially if they

come in bottles from the grocery store. Those are the most vile oils

out there, and certainly not to be considered foods! They are

already rancid sitting there on the shelf.

Hi, Patty...what type of grinder do you use to grind the flax seeds? Shirleyglory2glory1401 <glory2glory1401@...> wrote:

A simple coffee grinder that plugs in. I think the brand is Salton,

and it was about $10-15.

Works perfect! I grind only as much as I need for one use and store

the whole seed in the fridge to keep them fresh.
