Guest guest
Jen, Even though you are 1 year post explant and doing well, your body has forever been altered by your breast implant exposure. I can't say for sure what your heart fluttering or palpitations are, but I can tell you that I also had them in my post-explant life, and there was a time when they happened much, much more frequently than they do now. I think for me it is related to my thyroid, but I can't be totally sure. It used to scare me alot. Now I am used to them when they happen, which is rare, but still, there are times when I just realize that my body is never going to be as healthy as it was before. I live a totally active and awesome life, and it is such a huge blessing to have my health back, but the truth for me is that I will never, ever be the same again, and in fact since my immune system has been altered forever, I am resigned to the idea (but not giving in completely!) that I may even experience more autoimmune symptoms in the future as I get older. Who knows? There's no way to know if I will ever totally be in the clear. I just know that every once in awhile I have to do specific detoxing therapies to keep my body cleansed. I always have to be on my toes about taking care of myself. For me, that's life after breast implants. You might want to get some more tests done. My Hashimoto's autoimmune thyroid disease did not show up on tests until 4 years post explant. I also had my breast implants in for only 8 months. Your body is still going through some changes from your exposure, that is my guess. Guest guest
- jen Hi. I used to get really bad palpatations when I had the implants. After explant, and detoxing and doing the antibiotic therapy, my heart settled down to normal. Now I only get palpatations when I get a herx to something--a strong herx. It is usually when I take something that kills yeast. Are you detoxing? Perhaps then it is a herx. If not, I would suggest you have pathogens that need to be gotten rid of---especially yeast but also mycoplasma and others can cause those symptoms. I doubt the doctor would tell you much. They usually don't. Though I had several hundred pvc's a day and a high heart rate, the cardiologist I saw wasn't concerned. Also, they say menopause can cause palpatations too. 'Actually so many things can, but I see it more as a toxic issue. Good luck Hugs kathy -- In , " cnjcramer " <cnjcramer@y...> wrote: > every now & again, I'm not overweight, very low blood pressure, I'm > on > no meds & I'm active, I never had this prior to implants, but had > extreme heart palpations during implants (had them in for only 6 > months) anyway its been 1yr since explant & I've notice it enough > lately to think I might want to see a dr regarding this?
