Guest guest
Would an informed member please tell me all the known and suspect stuff that blocks E. And IF Saw Palmetto blocks E how this might occur. I read something about protein coatings blocking E, but I need more of the picture. Thanks ahead, Eileen
Guest guest
Hi Eileen, we all just share w h a t we know/believe/wonder about. Nobody has claimed Saw Palmetto blocks E. asked the question, i f SP blocks E, and I answered that there is no good reason it does, and what I think might be true. 's question I believe is a good question because we know that P can block E if s.o. takes too much P relative to the E in their bodies, which might create an hormonal imbalance. If the dosing isn't right=too much, supplements like DHEA, Pregnenolone and other Testosterone (enhancing) supplements may go the androgen way to DHT, acne, oily/fall-out hair and other negative symptoms nobody wants. In the different Tsupplements/creams, for men's (balding) a n d for (slightly different) w o m e n's preparations, Saw Palmetto is added to other T-enhancers for its ability to block the androgen way, that means that it will not block women's E. So most of us are constantly working a balancing act as to what our bodies need/can use, 'cause most of our bodies change a lot and very few of us have found a stable " reliable " hormonal (supplemental) dose for themselves. (This, because our doctors w h e n knowledgeable, can at best recommend a " recipe " , very few of them consider individual health characteristics, and nobody knows for sure how one's metabolism works in particular.)
