Kenda or others...what do you normally eat..

Hi Jen,

I usually have a smoothie for breakfast made from Bio Pure, 4 oz. Rice milk, 4 oz. Water and fruit. Dr. Leu considers Bio Pure to be the best protein powder available. If I am going to the gym I eat some type of protein bar or an egg and fruit about 3 hours after breakfast, before the gym. For lunch I usually have chicken or fish, a starch of some sort and a salad. I eat a mid-afternoon snack, sometimes fruit with cottage cheese, other times some granola with plain yogurt and fruit or a protein bar. For dinner I eat the same type of meal as lunch and then another snack between dinner and bed. Sometimes it is another smoothie or other times I’ll eat granola, plain yogurt and fruit if I didn’t have it earlier or I didn’t have a carb with dinner.

I try to eat every three hours. It keeps my blood sugar regulated and prevents me from dropping weight. My sister is trying to lose weight and also eats every three hours but she makes different food choices than I do. She doesn’t eat carbs. I don’t agree with the low-carb dieting but it is popular.

Thanks Kenda,

Is the Bio Pure straight protein? Does Dr Leu carry it? Or is it

somewhere else online? How do you normally make your chicken? I'm

not very creative so its always similar in the ways I season it &

cook it & that gets boring, lol!

Hi Jen,

Yes, it is pure protein but it contains all kinds of vitamins and aminos. According to Dr. Leu, it is the easiest for the body to break down and utilize. He carries it but so does myhealthfirst.com and it is MUCH cheaper there — along with the Andrographis. :) Check out myhealthfirst for information about Bio Pure.

My chicken gets boring too. I have an indoor grill and use it pretty often. My daughter loves Mexican so a lot of times I’ll grill the chicken or beef, cut it into strips, cook some black beans, corn tortillas and a salad. It’s her very favorite so we have it pretty much every week. Tonight we had turkey meatloaf. Last night was salmon with chipotle sauce. I eat lots of fresh fruits and and salads in the summer and add chopped chicken to the top. I always make homemade salad dressing with olive oil and vinegar. I cook completely differently in the winter, lots of soups and stews.

your recipe for your salad dressing? I'm sorry I'm turning these

posts into recipe posts, but I like hearing other people's recipes!

Hi Jen,

No problem at all! I don’t like to eat a lot of oil so I use twice the amount of vinegar to olive oil. Most restaurants do the opposite. Sometimes I add garlic or mustard or both, sometimes I add soy sauce and ginger if I am making something Asian. It all depends on what I feel like. I use balsamic vinegar a lot but I like wine vinegars as well. If I’m lazy I’ll just use olive oil and balsamic and nothing else. It’s quick and easy and doesn’t have any preservatives or other chemicals.
