Hi All,

Hope everyone is doing okay.

I received a report back from Dr. Blais today. If anyone can

decipher this I would really appreciate it. I wonder if I have

grounds for a lawsuit here.

Here goes:

Dear Ms. XXXXXXX,

Your implants, removed by L.J. Feng on April 13, 2005, were received

at Innoval on May 27, 2005. They were examined and remain in our

inventory. No destructive tests were performed.

Both implants incorporate a faulty valve which do not close because

of an intrinsic fabrication defect. The aqueous fluid charge is

contaminated with grossly visible particles consistent with

microbiological activity. Further, the incompetent valve on the

implants allowed periodic leakage of potentially infective fluid

into the breast tissue. The capsular tissue reflects significant

adverse effects from the implants, most probably through

inflammatory and/or infective processes.

At the time of writing, users of Mentor implants inserted after 1991

are not comprised in any Class Action. Compensation for injuries

arising from Mentor implant-related mishaps are matters of

negotiation between the Mentor Corporation and the implant user

and/or her legal representative.

ETC.... ETC....

Does anyone know what this means?

thanks,

Dawn
