Exactly. I feel like my arms and legs are always bruised.

I've recently become interested in home remedies and such...

acupressure, yoga, hot baths, detoxification of muscles...herbs,

cleansing veggie juices etc...lots of stuff to look into.

A lot of people around me have no idea what I'm talking about when I

mention my hypersensitive muscles and how they feel bruised and very

tender all the time. So I'm glad I found this group!

P.S. No I don't live in Chicago. I'm in upstate NY.

touch me in the arm, and it will hurt badly for like 5 minutes.

Often it feels like it might be burised, or like when you push on a

black and blue mark, but there is nothing there. I'm so glad to

know that I'm not alone!

Chicago. I'd like to find a group to meet with in person.

Additionally, I'm wondering if anyone has a good doctor at the

University of Chicago. I live in Hyde Park by the University, and I

could really use some help figuring out things like diet and

excerise. I just don't seem to have the enery and stregnth I need

to make the necessary changes on my own, and could really use some

support. While my boyfriend () is amazingly accepting and

supportive of this stuggle -- no one else in my life is very

helpful. My family usually thinks I'm whining or being too

sensitive, and no one at school wants to hear about it. I almost

feel like I have to talk to the senior citizens at church to find

anyone with compassion for the pain.

amitriptyline so that my body won't hurt too badly tomorrow.

Hyde Park in Chicago? I am a full time grad student, and also have

a limited income, so any resouces would be appricitated.
