Guest guest
I have a possible patient coming in for a consult who would like to possibly change his insurance from BC/BS of MA to Medicare/Medigap plan. He is having difficulties finding a Medigap plan for under 65 years old. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
Guest guest
Is it a pt with ESRD? If so I have had some luck with Banker's Life and Casualty providing to those under 65 on dialysis. > > I have a possible patient coming in for a consult who would like to possibly change his insurance from BC/BS of MA to Medicare/Medigap plan. Guest guest
Robin, If you go into medicare.gov, and go into picking a medigap policy. When you put in the zip code it will bring you into all the plans available and tell you if it will cover those under 65 etc... I believe AARP has a plan also. If you are in a state that does not require insurance companies to offer at least one kind of Medigap policy to people w/ Medicare under age 65 then you can always contact the state health insurance assistance program to see what is available.
