I wasn't trying to bash your insurance co... I am very happy somebody has had a good experience with them. you are lucky and I think that is great - I hope you didn't take my message as a negative for your experience as I am sure many have had no problems. Unfortunately I am not one of those!!!

Good luck on your home repairs... I know it will be a pain but the end result will be worth it. By the way - your home sounds absolutely beautiful!!! What I wouldn't give for a marble floor & shower!!! Maybe someday if I win the lotto...

Hi Shari,

You don’t have any reason to apologize at all. I’m sorry your experiences with insurance companies has been different than mine.

Our house is nice, we lived in our last house 15 years when we decided to build this one. We planned it a year in advance with an architect and had it built the way we wanted. It was a lot of fun, until now. :)
