Guest guest
aarrgghhhh - I had this all ready to post and poof it went gone so here I go again. I have 2 quick questions: I switched from .100 Levoxyl to Thyrolar 1 12.5 mcg T3 and 50 mcg T4 on March 29. On April 6 I had a blood test (TSH .80.) I am going for an annual exam on May 16. Would that be too soon to get a blood test since I switched medications or should I get it done on that day. I know also I need to see if they will test my free T3 and t4. Do I need anything else besides those and the basic panel. I am reading Shomons book and she has a section about T3 and how some Drs think the dosage in Armour and Thyrolar is too high. Now I am thinking that maybe I made a mistake in switching. I feel a little better, more alert. I haven't had any bad side effects and I know it takes awhile before I will really feel the difference. What do all of you think. (If my dosage needs to be increased I'll add a lower dose of Thyrolar. I do not want to go to 25 mcg T3/100 T4 mcg. ) I'm thinking that it must be ok with my body since I don't have any bad side effects. Thanks for letting me be a member of your group even though I am taking a synthetic. Louise
