Hi Patty,

Actually I haven't had soy in quite some time. I only use it when I make my protein shakes. My trainer told me to cut out the milk and start drinking soy. It is terrible and I can't stand it but I wanted to try and lose weight and was eating everything he told me to and cutting out the junk. That was before explant. The shakes would be much better with milk or even water for that matter. I have no problem cutting out soy. I had to go and buy the banana and strawberry flavored just to be able to drink it in a shake. When I was using it, it was a very small amount. Mostly ice and fruit. It was the only way that I was able to get fruit into my system because I pretty much can't stand any fruit. Yes, I'm very picky!glory2glory1401 <glory2glory1401@...> wrote:

Uh oh...can you stand the thought of losing the soy milk?? Soy is not good for many of us, contrary to some health claims. Soy is actually suppressive of thyroid function. I used to use it, thinking it was a good substitute for dairy, but little did I know that I wasn't doing myself any favors, and was actually putting more stress on my under-functioning thyroid. It's your choice, of course, but you might want to exclude it from your diet and see if you feel better without it. I sure did!Patty> > > Hi Kathy,> > > > > > Not eating meat? That is strange. God, I don't even know if I > > could even give it up. Try Rice Dream instead of soy, made with brown rice, 100% organic.
