Guest guest
When I was 30 yrs. old, I started a great job as a flight attendant which I loved! I remember asking people to sit down when the seat belt light was on, and they would tell me that they had back pain or arthritis. I wasn't very sympethetic with them, and now I can't even sit thru a 1/2 church sermaon without having to get up and take a walk. I feel very guilty about that. I carry so much guilt about alot of things, mostly not being the Mommy that I wanted to be to my 3 yr. old son, Quinn. My husband's family told him that they thought I was " acting " sickly because I wanted to be waited on. It's one thing to not want to go to work, but when someone doesn't even want to do the FUN things in life (like take beautiful vacations) then I tend to believe that they are really hurting. I have found in the last 5 yrs. of having aches and pains all over, that the traveling is the hardest part. Once I get to the ocean or the mountains, being outside is a nice distraction. It is so hot in Las Vegas right now, that I am indoors all the time. I can't even go for a walk at night! I wish that I had a detox buddy here to shop and cook with. I love this group, but I have never been able to keep up with the e- mails because I can't sit for very long. I have always lost track of who is who and what has helped them. I am much better on the phone. I'm sure that I haven't looked at messages that girls have sent me, because I am so far behind. You certainly have alot of understanding friends here. Last year when a group of us met at a wonderful get-a-way, it felt so good to be surrounded by friends who have been there. If anyone would ever like to come to Las Vegas, my home is open!!
