Guest guest
Hi Rogene, Dawn Bevan comes from England not really sure if Delanie does. After my holidays in Dorset on the 27th I am going to really concentrate on my dettoxing again, and using my sauna.I don't take any meds or supplements already but I will start with the acidopilus again. I hope you are well. Lots of love Sue
Guest guest
Sue, It's good to hear from you . . . and to know the wasp sting wasn't serious! Have you considered Lana's recommendation to take all silica, silicone dioxide, silicon products out of your diet? . . . With everything you're reacting to, it's possible that may be a common thread. Even veggie peelings have silica in them! When I checked my supplements, I found silicone dioxide in over half of them! I don't think it provides a nutrient, just a convenience for packaging. I saw you note on massage . . . It's such a shame that massage isn't considered a medical treatment when it's so beneficial. IMHO, they could avoid a lot of joint replacements if massage was approved and used early on. I've been trying to remember the other ladie's name in Great Britain . . . Delanie? Dawn? . . . I must be losing it! Hugs and prayers, Rogene
Guest guest
Sue, Would you connect Dawn with the new lady (Louise?) I know she's relieved to know she's not alone! Guest guest
Hi Sue, So glad you were ok after your sting! My son is severely allergic to bee and wasp stings and was stung 7 times last weekend while clearing property for his Eagle Scout project. He had been on Benadryl for terrible poison ivy for several days. I immediately rushed him to the hospital because he starts swelling with stings. They told me that because he had taken Benadryl that he avoided a reaction. They said any time an allergic person gets stung to immediately take Benadryl and the reaction can sometimes be avoided. Kenda Dear ladies, today I got stung on the neck by a wasp. It sent me into real panic as I react to everything, food meds ect, so I thought " oh no what's going to happen " but thankfully everything was fine it just blinking hurt. I was so relieved I didn't have a reaction to it, I just wanted to share. Hope you are all well Love Sue. Guest guest
Kenda, That's good information . . . Years ago my daughter and grand daughter were visiting .. . . They ventured outside the yard into some brush where they disturbed a nest of ground dwelling wasps. .. . I think they were called Eastern yellow jackets? They were both stung repeatedly. . . They came through it OK . . . but knowing about Benedryl would have saved them a lot of misery! . . . From now on, I'm going to keep some on hand at all times! I learned from a specialist that in the fall, the wasps are building their winter quarters. They are particularly agressive - especially in the late afternoon. We got rid of them by pouring gasoline down the hole in the early morning, then lighting a match!. Love, Rogene
Guest guest
wow - all this talk about wasp stings and my little Logan got stung just yesterday for the first time! I was scared as I didn't know if he would have a reaction since it was his first time (he is 4). Luckily I put some benedryl gel on it and had some childrens oral liquid on hand just in case... I always keep Benedryl in my home - you never know what is gonna happen!! luckily it looks like Logan is not allergic and came out just fine. Living here we have a ton of them - especially around the pools.... that is where he was when he got stung. poor little guy - he didn't complain too much... I hate them - been stung a ton of times... shari
Guest guest
Hi Shari! I’m so glad you got Benadryl on him right away. My son is so allergic that his body swells. Thankfully he was on Benadryl before he got stung 7 times last weekend. He didn’t react at all. He’ll always keep Benadryl in the glove compartment of his car!
