Does anyone have an updated post-transplant medication list with the

retail prices that they can send to me? Much appreciated!

The retail cost will vary by location, for example Walmart, Costco, Walgreens, Kroger's, ALL have different prices. This price also changes quarterly, as pharmacies can negotiate price changes every quarter.

I could provide you with the University of Utah's retail cost if you would like, but please be aware these prices vary across ALL locations, even within the same city and state.

Pat,I appreciate your help but what I am looking for is the retail cost of the post transplant meds, if you had to pay 100% out of pocket. What we do at our facility is provide the patient with a list of potential post transplant medications and the full cost to give them an idea of how expensive these drugs are and how important is is to have adequate rx drug coverage....--------------------This electronic message is intended to be for the use only of the named recipient, and may contain information that is confidential or privileged. I talked with our Transplant Coordinators and compiled a list of the most

prescribed drugs, including all immuno. then called one of our local pharmacies

to copile a cost list.

You would need to do the same as the prices vary according to the region you are

in.

Takes some time, but you only have to do this once a year.

Teressa, that’s what the list is,

all the dollars listed are retail before any insurance. At the bottom I total

retail, then I take off the 80% for Medicare, and give them the amount they

would pay if they had Medicare only. I just started adding their co pay after

insurance.

Pat-the attachment was there, it was just at the bottom of the e-mail, at least for me, not @ the top the way most of us are used to seeing attachments.

Or it could be your e-mail program stripped off the attachment; some institutions do that for virus protection. You'd have to check w/your facility IT dept to see if that's the case.
