Guest guest
Yes. Phewee its never dull. Its a battle sometimes, but as one of my sisters said to me by way of a curse: 'the trouble with you, Judy, is that you like interesting men' Yes. Judy B Subject: RE: pagan/EsbatTo: aspires-relationships Date: Tuesday, 27 April, 2010, 1:23 Hm, I had to go looking up the Internet to find out that Esbat refers to new moon rituals. So we live and learn. I myself am perhaps one quarter Pagan. I really confuse some of the people I confess this to, because they think that the other three classifications I apply to myself seem to conflict with this (and with each other too). But from my way of thinking, I’ve really taken what I think in my experience and philosophy, happens to be the very best and finest features of the four classes, and omitted any traditions or beliefs that I cant sincerely hold to. I consider myself rather fortunate however in that I can associate with persons of almost any philosophical or religious persuasion and talk their language quite happily. I recall when I gave some of my Art lectures to the Benedictine Monks of New Norcia near Perth Western Australia, that the good monks, including the Abbott felt sure that I was an Anglican (Episcopal) Divine. Yes, Judy, I can certainly agree it must be interesting to be youse lot - Catholic and Pagan, AS and NT. Wow. Ron.
