Dr. M., this most certainly is NOT a triumph for

women's choices as I see it, being a past 1976

McGhan/3M silicone gel breast implant patient. And

sir, I am all for women's choices and making good

lifestyle decisions and allowing women of all ages to

make those choices, but what is going on right now

with the approval of silicone gel breast implants is a

major milestone backwards...the FDA is clearly going

down the wrong path (at their own free will) and has

clearly buckled under (once again).

This problem is nothing new for the Art of Medicine

and the medical community as a whole. They flip flop

all of the time because they do not know what they are

really doing...because they really do not understand

the human body & how it works with triggers that can

not embrace the variatns of certain key genes...like

with silicone gel breast implants...so it is just

easier to ride the fence and allow women to make their

own choices (medicine is hiding behind women's

choices) even if the SCIENCE is really NOT there to

prove the Mentor silicone gel breast implants are

safe with acceptable risks.

Where are the many past years of studies on the

offspring and with breast feeding with these Mentor

implants or is that going to be studied down the road

when they get enough patients hooked into making " the

choice " to opt for the devices of opting for Mentor

silicone gel breast implants?

NO WOMEN would want to make a total informed choice to

go through what many have gone through when they opted

for breast implants (whatever type) IF they new the

truth and WERE FULLY, TOTALLY INFORMED before opting

for silicone gel breast implants ...and NO WOMEN in

her right mind would ever make a fully, TOTALLY

INFORMED choice to allow her child to go through a

lifetime of hell either....yes, women may be making

" choices " but they are not being informed fully with

what is being placed in their body when it comes to

whatever type of silicone gel breast implant!!!

NO PARENT who gives their daughter breast implants for

a gift would make this choice for their loved one

either, IF they were honestly being told EVERYTHING to

what is going on with silicone gel breast implants! My

own parents were devasted as my MISSOURI plastic

surgeon did NOT disclosed EVERYTHING he knew at the

time from 1976-1980 and HE KNEW stuff about the

devices, but wanted to make a buck....and then cover

up his own tail with " words of art " in the medical

history...this is something that MANY WOMEN have

experienced....and with the FDA approval of Mentor

implants this problem will simply get worse for those

who will be walking the walk in the future....as

plastic surgeons and others in other medical divisions

will learn to play the game better this time around

with breast implant patients.

The problem is women (and the general public as a

whole) are NOT BEING TOTALLY INFORMED to ALLl that is

going on with breast implants, this includes the

offspring taking " hits " too.

Sure Dr. Melmed, this was a " triumph " for the medical

community/actually a " triumph " for THE ART OF

MEDICINE, (especially for the plastic surgeons)

because to have the FDA buckle under and get to go on

with " business as usual " to freely USE THE GENERAL

POPULATION AT ONE's OWN FREE WILL will be great,

which is a great " triumph " for THEM, NOT for the

patient or general population or humanity as a whole

.....this happens daily with pharmaceutical

companies... they do not blink an eye or do not care

who or how they medically harm people as long as they

are in business....this is part of the ART OF MEDICINE

I do not care for... so-called victories in THE ART OF

MEDICINE when they failed to really uphold their oath

of First, do no harm...and then hide behind the " words

of art " and call it a WOMEN's CHOICE~

Nobody is pulling the wool over my eyes because I was

brought up in this world of medicine and watched as a

child how many got ahead in life....and the standards

of medicine only slipped deeper as the years went by

and more money was to be made from the snafu in the

Art of Medicine...many breast implant women are NOT

having the wool pulled over their eyes either and will

fight what is currently happening~

Breast implant women are very smart women even if we

all made a poor choice early in our lives for opting

for breast implants /silicone gel breast

implants....hysteria? No, we did not like the medical

bushwhacking and did not apprecaite that plastic

surgeons /the companies were NOT forthcoming...as the

human body was speaking volumes to what silicone gel

breast implants were very capable of doing....

Although Dr. Jewell's words are well chosen, they are

simply more " words of art " in a letter thanking the

FDA for buckling under, then hiding behind the theory

of a major milestone of a great snafu of the FDA

giving ALL women choices, with Mentor silicone gel

breast implants.

Many past breast implant women who have walked the

walk already are NOT that stupid and WE ALL see what

is going on...with the well chosen words of art that

the medical community always seem to drum up all of

the time.

When the fact of the matter is Dr. M., the FDA is

allowing the medical community /plastic surgeons/ the

breast implant companies to USE the general population

at their own free will and allowing women to make

choices or think that these devices are safe, or with

acceptable risk when in fact the devices were not

investigated to that highest of high standard to

uphold the oath of First, do no harm.

NOTE MY WORDS: Good science? No, it is not good, but

decitful science...They are going to create their

science in the future when they get enough Mentor

silicone breast implant in patients, that's all. They

MENTOR, and plastic surgeons will be able to CREATE

their science as they go ...because this is how the

ART OF MEDICINE works...then MENTOR and plastic

surgeons will be able to present their created science

to the FDA as safe with acceptable risk....because

THIS SECOND TIME AROUND they are going to make sure

they all cover their tails better than they did the

first time with silicone gel breast implants....See

Dr. Melmed how the Art of Medicine works?

Dr. M, IF there was ever any hysteria with breast

implants, it was because the companies and plastic

surgeons (the medical community as a whole) did NOT

uphold their oath of First, do no harm and failed to

tell the truth IN THE FIRST PLACE, so now they are

getting a second chance in getting it right---hope

SURE HOPE they have enough wisdom to get it right this

second time around, but I doubt it because the human

body is still going to speak volumes with the new

faces who are now on the path .... the human body is

far smarter than those who have all of the medical

degrees...and the human body will continue to speak

volumes.

......yet the human body has spoken to the truth of

what silicone gel breast implants are capable of

doing...the problem is those with all of the medical

degrees and so-called wisdom (within the medical

community) many fail at their own free will to

understand the signs/ and silient words of the volumes

that the human body is telling....common sense is not

scientific, (we all have some) but common sense needs

to be used in order to uphold the oath of First, do no

harm to better understand evolving diseases as it may

present itself in humanity.

Hysteria is science in many ways as hysteria may be

the end result of what science is and

produces...because you people in the medical community

( fail to better understand the variants of certain

key genes in order to craft/tailor the medicines/

vaccines/ dentistry and medical devices or whatever to

those variants of certain key genes that have been

elevated into a sensitivity, an adverse reaction,

cancer, death or gene/environment interactions which

are important in the development and manifestations of

autoimmune diseases that may present as classic

disease or disease like ....

Last night when I sent you my other e-mail I wanted to

go more into dept, but I was lacking time, so I sent

you my short e-mail last night.

Today I have allittle more time to go into depth of

what I do indeed believe.

I am not asking you or anyone to agree, but feel I

must honor my own spirit and more importantly honor

the spirit of the generations to come by speaking out,

to you or anyone else.

So for that Dr. M., I appreciate your time.
