Guest guest
hi again My surgery was done near where I live in , FL. My Doctor was Dr. Bridge - I really liked him and he did a very good job on me and was right on the money about the "not needing a lift" thing. I thought it was refreshing to have a doctor actually talk you OUT of spending money with him.... that was rare. I think it took a good 3-4 months to get back to normal and fluff. I would definitely warn you that there is a shock right after surgery but it does not stay that way. Your body needs time to fluff back out and all the tissues go back where they belong. I looked almost concave after surgery and was a little freaked out but now I look normal again. I am 34 now and pretty much had no issues bouncing back after my pregnancy and breast feeding. My doctor actually based part of his decision on that as my son was only 1 1/2 at explant and he noticed that my tummy wasn't too misshapen and I didn't have many stretch marks, etc. Everyone is different ... my sister after her first was completely ruined as far as a bikini ever went again - she gained 20 lbs less than me and her tummy was all stretched out and she had marks from her breasts to her thighs. I was VERY lucky there as she had hers first and I gained a lot more and thought for sure I would look the same. I wouldn't worry about it - remember that right after explant is not what you are gonna look like so you are not worried. If the doc recommends against a lift then they probably have a reason for it. Good luck!!!! shari
Guest guest
Thanks for letting me know how your experience was without a lift. It helps to hear what type of results other women have had without it. I will listen to the surgeon who performs the surgery and go from there. I'm sure immediately following explant it's a scary sight, but in time, maybe they will look okay. I know I won't have any size, but I'm small framed, that's more realistic than these C cups I have now. After 14 years I will miss 'em though ! I am the same as you as far as shape after pregnancy and nursing. It gives me some peace to know that my skin might be fairly elastic. Thanks again !
