Shari,

I didn't see the original message but from what I read of Rogene's

reply, did you have a miscarriage? I know that it is a very personal

question to ask, I just want you to know that I will be praying for

you. I had my son before my implants, and then after I had them I had

five miscarriages until they figured out that I had anti-phospholipid

syndrome. I finally carried my daughter to 37 weeks after daily doses

of baby asprin, and supplementary progesterone the first three months

of the pregnancy. I walked on egg-shells the first four months until

everything was okay. It hurts so deeply to lose a baby, at any stage...

God Bless always,

Carol

Carol,

I am so sorry you suffered from so many miscarriages. I am sure that

was an incredibly painful period of time for you. I am pleased to

hear that you finally were able to address your condition and carry

your daughter to near term!

Congratulations,

Patty

How horrible that must have been for you... I very fortunately did not have any miscarriages ... it took over 2 years to get pregnant with my son who is now 4 - I was getting a fertility doctor about that - I wasn't taking meds yet for it. I can not imagine going through what you have described.... I had my implants when I carried my son and breast fed him for almost 9 months. My mold post was mainly in reference to that as he had a lot of issues as a baby which I think is related to the implants/mold, etc. I want to have another baby very badly but I am scared due to my illnesses. Luckily I am getting better as I am 2 years post explant but I am worried about carrying a baby in my body with all it has been through the last few years - explant 4/03. Sinus surgery 11/03 then another sinus op 12/03. Chronic infections ever since with my sinuses, ears, eyes, and yeast. I have been on several different meds since all this crap started trying to get back to normal which of course I could not take while pregnant. I have talked to my docs about getting off of several of them - mainly antidepressants and he thinks it is a bad idea. I will be 35 in November - I do not want to wait too long before I have another baby if I am going to try but I am stuck between a rock and a hard place. My hubby wants another one but if we do it he wants to do it soon as he will be 39 in December. He doesn't want to wait another 3-4 years and says maybe we should forget it if we have to wait as he feels he will be too old. We are sorta in decision mode now... who knows what will happen. we may just end up with our only child (my hubby has a 14 year old from his previous marriage so it is 2 for him). If I am gonna try to have another one I do not want to take any chances as knowing that a lot of my son's issues were due to my implants has been very hard for me. I couldn't live with that again so I would have to make sure I was healthy. we will see what happens.

Thanks for your thoughtful words!!

love

shari
