Hi,

Going back to work will definietely make a difference in how much pain you are feeling. The more I moved around, the worse the pain was. Tolerable but worse.

As for your dressings, mine were also irritated around where my stitches were. In the underneath crease of the breast. I took gauze and put under my sports bra in the area that was irritated. It helped quite a bit.

As for the dressings being damp, I can't help you there. I don't remember having that problem as I only had tape on the areas where the stitches were. The guaze came off as soon as the drains came out. That was about 2-3 days.
