Guest guest Posted February 7, 2007 Report Share Posted February 7, 2007 In yesterday's WSJ it had an article on whether to keep ovaries (during hyst or just having them removed) and the studies showed longer life spans for those that did. It did not go into great detail for those that did not have ovaries and took hormones (it did mention that they did better). I would post it but do not have an account online with them. Interesting that all these years a lot of Dr's discount the usefullness of the ovary after your childbearing years and some of the benefits of hormones on quality of life.
