Guest guest
Hi there. I am new to this site and looking for support. I have had my implants for 4 years and have finally had it. Since day one, there has always been discomfort with them. I can no longer lay on my stomach, do certain exercises, and if certain spots on my breast are pushed on, it hurts soooo bad! I am not sure what is wrong. My plastic surgeon said that he does not feel any capular contriction (sp) and my breasts do not feel hard at all. He thinks that it could be fibrocystic. Now, I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia several years ago. Could this be part of the problem does anyone know? I had a breast exam at my doctors and she said she didn't feel anything irregular at all. So where is the pain coming from? I am ready to have them taken out and my plastic surgeon said he would do that for me whenever I want to. Please give me some thoughts on this and advice. I am afraid of what I will feel like when they are out (I mean being depressed). I was a size 34B and am now a 34DD with my implants. Thanks so much
Guest guest
Welcome to ! Fibromyalgia is only one of the problems that accompany breast implants. . . . Please read through the messages and the files in our archive section to see how much you have in common with other women who are sick after breast implants. Most women feel much better after getting them removed properly! . . . If your surgeon is willing to remove them, ask him to put it in writing that he will remove them " en bloc " and use drains until there is no significant drainage. If you doctor tells you that you will be disfigured or deformed after surgery, consider that to be his/her skill level and move on! Getting your implants removed can be the best thing you've ever done for yourself. It was for me! Hugs and prayers, Rogene
