Guest guest
Doc Vasey looked at me for one second and said that I had the Livedo Reticularis - my little boy was 2 at the time and he said he had it too. It wasn't really a rash per say... my skin would get really red and blotchy almost in a lacy looking way. It never itched but when it got really bad on my hands my knuckles turned bright red. He said it was a reaction to the implants and silicone and said that he had seen it in almost all of the 3000 patients or so he had helped with silicone issues. I have his book here - I will look and see if he mentions it - I am sure he does. It is hard to explain what he said about it as it was a few years ago and he is very educated on silicone issues and tends to use pretty big words while describing it and it was hard to understand. I will see what it says in his book. I also found a really good website back then to look it up that had pics on it.... I will see if I can find it again and let you know as it showed various stages and degrees of it and you can compare it to your rashes. I don't believe you can do anything about it if I remember correctly. he said as the silicone worked its way out of me it would go away. I will write you back later on this if I can find anything. shari
Guest guest
Thanks for the info...it is amazing how few doctors understand the link between silicone and other bodily reactions! I will look forward to other info if you can find it! Jeanne
