Guest guest
I am having trouble understanding what I can and cannot eat w/the authorized food list. For example, I eat fruit/veggies for some meals however what about other things such as reduced fat crackers - they're not healthy but they're not like eating butter or cheese. Please advise on some things that you eat for your 6 meals that I can eat at work (basically simple stuff). Thank you!

Thank you! Hi Stephainie, I am gone from home many hours almost every day so I pack all six meals to go on many occasions. Here are some example meals from my list: *SpiruTein meal replacement shake (usually vanilla or chocolate and made with 4oz 2% milk. It stirs easily with a spoon although I got this little whip from Pampered Cheff that works even better) *Grilled strips of boneless skinless breast of chicken grilled, poached or baked, added to either a portion of canned beans, or salad greens, or an apple, pear or orange, or baked sweet potato or acorn squash. *a portion of 2% cottage cheese, added to 3oz of Dannon Fit and Lite yogurt (it is sweetened with aspartame so I only have this 2x a week), plus I might sprinkle a tablespoon of Almond Accents on top (Honey Roasted) *Two string cheese and an apple or orange *chilled shrimp and a tablespoon of cocktail sauce, a citrus piece of fruit *leftovers from dinner usually cooked from the EFL book *FF deli turkey and RF swiss cheese on whole wheat bread, with spicy mustard and maybe a tomato and/or lettuce. *Oatmeal with protein powder stirred in (usually vanilla), and sweetened slightly with Splenda *2% cottage cheese with 1/2 chopped apple, a few walnuts crumbled, cinnamon *Foil pouch tuna served over Wasa crisps VEGGIES: I also cut up a bunch of raw veggies like bell peppers, celery, baby carrots, sugar snap peas, zucchini, yellow squash, etc and carrie it in a zip lock to much whenever I want it. Hope this helps! Kelley
