Guest guest
, FYI, the children's issues are beginning to get some attention! . . At the recent FDA hearings, the children's issues were discussed . . . The plastic surgeons walked out during this time! . . . Also, Keeling (CANDO) has been conducting a study to see if the children born to women with implants have a toxic level of platinum . . . Some do! Deb Pettitt is going to be taking specimens from some children as a part of her Sick Silicone Syndrome Study (SSSS). When I went to Washington, D.C., the children's issues was at the forefront of the discussions among the women participating in the protest over the FDA's recommendation to approve Mentor's gel implant. This is the FIRST time that the children's issues are being pushed! . . . It will probably take a considerable amount of time before the issue becomes common knowledge . . . But at least the ice is beginning to crack! Love, Rogene
