Guest guest
I was told by my rheum to purchase a product (which I did)called Biotene. It comes as a toothpaste, mouthwash, and chewing gum. It is supposed to contain the enzymes that are missing in the saliva of Sjogren's patients which leads to dental decay. I found it at my local pharmacy but cheaper at my local Walmart. I haven't done much research on it but it does not contain peroxide. If anyone has ever tried this product (which I am doing currently) please give me some feedback. On top of that I haven't been feeling well lately. I discontinued all of my medications (and a long list it was) except for 2. I am going to have to wean myself off of those extremely slow (effexor and klonopin). I will write/post more when I am feeling better. There is an awful lot to read about since I haven't logged on in 3 weeks. All of you are an endless stream of information and knowledge but most of all inspiration. God Bless!
