Guest guest
This is a good idea too . . . You may want to use hydrogen peroxide to clean yourself . . . It's outstanding at killing bacteria. Sports bras should never be " tight " . Snug but comfortable is the goal. You should be supported, but not feel bound. Guest guest
If you use hydrogen peroxide without removing your bandages, I'd suggest using a spray bottle and spraying until the bandages are considerably damp (not soaked). Let it soak for, say 15 minutes, then do whatever it takes to completely dry yourself. If you are in the southwest, just spending some time outdoors would probably do the job. Where I am, the humidity is so high it would only make matters worse! So you'll have to figure that one out! A hair dryer may work! You really need to keep the area dry to prevent chaffing and bacteria growth. A warm, dark, damp area is conducive to bacterial growth. Not good! One article I read said that when surfaces are cleaned with hydrogen peroxide, not only were they cleaned better than with other products, but they stayed sterile longer. Guest guest
I don't remember how long my dressings were on . . . Maybe a week? Not all that long. However, I think your doctor is a better judge of how long they need to be on. He/she knows how much cutting had to be done. I would prefer to err on the side of caution rather than rush things. Additional movement could account for additional soreness . . . but then I don't know how much you're moving about. Soreness can be expected. If you feel your breasts are hot or inflammed, you need to contact your doctor. Hugs, Rogene

Guest guest
absoutlu not. use the blow dryer. when your dressongs seem to be peeling on their own, replace them with the dressing you can find at the pharmacy that most matches what u have. i can't remember the name exactly but i think it is four h or something like that. they make a tape that is almost like cloth. or ask your ps for somr extra.Toni Frampton __________________________________________________
