Guest guest
Try taking lecithin everyday. It helps break down the fatty crap that builds into gallstones. I do it, and so far I haven't had to remove my gallbladder like they wanted to do!"Beth S." <schaffe88@...> wrote: Hi, The doctor said that he thinks that something is wrong with my gallbladder. Since my blood work checked out ok for the liver, he seems to think that there is something wrong with the gallbladder. He gave me meclizine (spelling?) for the dizziness and wants me to go to an optometrist for an eye examine. He sent for my records from the other doctor so I have to call him back in 10 days. Then he will know what tests to do. This makes sense. I had a cat scan and ultrasound and the gallbladder couldn't be seen since the liver was covering it. The really strange thing is that since I've gotten rid of the dizziness with the meclizine, my eye pain is gone. He said that it definitely is not related to my thyroid. The blood work is normal and he said that my thyroid feels very small. I'm wondering if the nodules have shrunk since explant. Anyway, I feel like crap and have been in bed most of the day yesterday and today. Talk to ya all later! Beth S. Guest guest
Hi, Did you have the pain and bloating that goes along with it? I've heard of lecithin. I'll try it and see if it stops the pain and bloating. Thanks! Beth S. Guest guest
Beth, It sounds to me like you need to do some serious liver support. Just because your liver blood work checked out okay doesn't mean that there isn't something amiss there. When the liver isn't doing its detoxing job very well, toxins can build up and even be worse than before if the Phase 1 pathway isn't working up to snuff. I would highly suggest taking supplements like Milk Thistle, Alpha Lipoic Acid and N Acetyl Cysteine if you aren't already. Swedish Bitters are also good for the liver and cleansing. Guest guest
Hi Patty, I had more than blood work to check the liver. I've had it checked through cat scans and ultrasound. The doctor only suspected the gallbladder because I told him about all of the tests and I also had the results with me from my recent blood work. He said that he had seen similar symptoms with people that had gallbladder problems. I'm currently detoxing using milk thistle along with other supplements. I was only able to take 175 mg when I first started. I was told to take 175 mg twice a day but it was giving me a severe headache. I backed off and then started to increase the dosage slowly without experiencing the same symptoms. I'm currently taking 600 mg a day without the same symptoms I had in the beginning. I think that it is worth having the gallbladder checked just to be sure. It it checks out then I know it is the liver. I just don't want to tell the doctor not to check my gallbladder. I've been through too much to ignore what he is saying. After all, this is the first doctor I've been to that has said that it could possibly be my gallbladder. All the other doctors would look at the swollen abdomen and just say I'm fat. If you are fat, normally you are fat all over not just your upper abdomen. However, I'm going to look at the links that you suggest and definitely keep this information in mind. I just don't want to tell the doctor not to test the gallbladder since it really never has been checked properly. Thanks for the info as I appreciate it greatly!glory2glory1401 <glory2glory1401@...> wrote: Beth,It sounds to me like you need to do some serious liver support. Guest guest
beth sorry to hear that you are still feeling so bad. I don't understand why they could't see your gallbladder on the tests. That sounds weird to me. I know they use the ultrasound to see the gallbladder. Is your liver enlarged? Something doesn't sound right. I would keep pushing them to get this resolved. I am praying that you will be experiencing better health soon Hugs, kathy --- In , " Beth S. Guest guest
Yes, milk thistle is also what I take for the gallstones!glory2glory1401 <glory2glory1401@...> wrote: Beth,It sounds to me like you need to do some serious liver support.
