Guest guest
Hi Ladies, I think there are probably quite a few new members here! Welcome to all! I just wanted to pop in and say that I am back on US soil once again and it does feel good to be home! But my trip to India was incredible and we saw God moving in our midst in wonderful ways. We were definitely challenged. But we were also greatly blessed. One of the most challenging and emotional times for me was when we visited the orphanage in Nagpur for girls. We came unannounced and bearing gifts of towels, hair accessories and perfume for the girls. Seeing the grinding poverty that they lived in was so hard, but it was even more difficult knowing that most of them had never experienced the loving hugs and caresses of a mother. One of the girls there, who was 11 years old, reminded me of my niece, and through an interpreter I told her so.....the reply of this precious child brought a flood of tears that burst forth from me like a dam....she said, "You look like my mother." It was so wrenching because I was told that she had been in the orphanage since the age of one, and had no relatives except a grandmother, grandfather and brother that had not visited her since she was a toddler. It makes me cry even now to think of that moment. This is me with that child--I am hugging her. The love of our God is big, it is wide, it is high, it is deep. May we all know Him in the glory of His great compassion towards us, and know that He shares in our sorrows and pain, and yet is the source of our unending joy. I pray that all of you are experiencing the precious peace that comes from having a personal relationship with the One Who holds your life in the palm of His hand. There is healing in His wings.....if you are feeling down today about your situation in life...remember there are always others who are suffering in ways that we can't possibly understand, and He alone is our hope. By the way, God greatly protected me from illness in India! Two of the other members got diarrhea and were down for a couple days, but I took my Primal Defense, olive leaf extract and colloidal silver and though I had the beginnings of it, I was able to stop it in its tracks pretty quick! We were in the Malaria Belt of India, and I got 3 or 4 mosquito bites, but I think I came out alright! I'll try to catch up on messages...please be patient with me as I get back into life. I am still battling a little jet lag from our 36 hour journey home. God bless you all!
