I don't know who was against who, or who had who removed. And I am not

saying that one thing is indeed related to the other I just thought that the

fact the Mr. Trafficant had done so much to help us and then been accused of

a crime, was worth mentioning. I voted for Clinton twice! Does anyone have a

copy of any statements that have made by the Clintons on our behalf? If

indeed they have been trying to help us and I wasn't aware of it I would

like to see those statements. I do have to say that during the time they

were in office I myself never heard them say anything about the subject

oneway or the other. I would imagaine that any congress man wether

republican or democrat that had been involved in any way in the 1990's with

making money from the sale of silicone implants might want to shy away from

that subject.

I didn't mean to offend anyone. Lana

I am a very strong woman myself and A good CHRISTIAN regarless of what

anyone else thinks. That is the only reason I am doing anything at all try

try and help. I was not attacking anyone just simply pointng out dates and

people that I thought were important. I had two very ill children and I was

soo sick it was unreal and I as well as many others, tried for several years

to get the Clintons to help us. We were completely unsuccessful. I have

stayed away from the support groups for so long that I must not have had

time to find out that Mrs. Clinton is now helping us before i spoke. if you

have infromation on what it is that she is doing to help us could you please

share it with me. In the future I will not comment on things that other

people are saying, I misunderstood. I thought that we were supposed to share

our thoughts. SORRY! Lana

It was not an attack, just a correction.

Lana,

You won't find many politicians willing to take a

public stand regarding breast implant issues. There

was one California politician who lost his life in a

plane accident after taking a stand. . . Whether or

not it was intentional or not, we'll probably never

know.

Right now, big business is running the government.

Since I've been involved in this issue, whenever we've

run into a road block, there's been a Republican

standing there. Until getting involved in the implant

issue, I was a Republican! Now I'm disgusted with

them!

Regardless of how we feel about certain politicians,

we need to enlist the help of the few who are willing

to take a stand. Right now, Mentor is waiting for the

FDA to approve their latest gel implants. They passed

the hurdle of the FDA panel in April. The decision

should be made in the next few weeks. That's why we

need to contact our Congressmen/women and ask them to

use whatever influence they can muster to stop the FDA

from approving them.

I really don't want to see this group turn into a

debate about politics though . . . It's become a very

divisive issue, even among families. We need to be

politically savvy enough that we can use the people

who will help us, regardless of party.

Hugs,

Rogene

Oh not again! Just when I thought it was over.

I was surprised to see Lana's opinion be personally attacked. "Not a Christian thing" and so forth. I hate how someone's opinion in here gets turned around and the PERSON and not their IDEA is personally attacked. The politics of breast implants are discussed in here all of the time, so it is not fair to say we can't discuss politics. It is always the same people who get personal in their replies. Like right now, I will not mention who they are, but please stop judging. By the way, I am not Christian, so I guess I can be accused of not doing the Christian thing if I am not careful, right? Let's be nice in here. We are all on the same team, right? Just some of us throw the ball differently.

Aylene, What a sweet heart. Funny that's the same type of reaction I used to

get from our doctors and from women when I would tell them about what the

siliocne was doing to the kids. I'm used to it trust me! Don't worry about

me, I do tend to say whats on my mind without ever thinking about what the

person I am saying it to thinks about it. I wasn't trying to imply that

is BAD. I was simply pointing out a few reasons why (I) didn't think

she was going to do much for us. The gal who wrote and said that " not a

Christian thing " also wrote and said that she " was not attacking me she was

simply correcting me. " But really in order to correct me she would actully

have to show me that I am wrong. As I asked in my last two e-mails, what if

anything has Mrs. Clinton done to help us. A simple question not an attack.

As I stated I have been away from all of this for so long that there is a

GOOD possiblitiy that I missed something. Did Mrs. Clinton try to enforce or

sign onto the call for a task force to investigate the saftey of silicone

implants, that was being spear headed by Mr. Trafficant? Did she do anything

to investigate the breast implant situation or try to stop the FDA from

placing them back on the market? Has she ever made a public speech

acknowledging the problems that women are having with the implants? If so,

then I have indeed been corrected, if not, I would encourage anyone to

contact anyone they can that is in a position to help us, even her. Heck, I

would encourage you to ask Rush Limbaug to help us, if I thought he would.

Personally I think approching Ralph Nader, who worked with Vasey on

one of the first books to be published that expose the silicone breast

implant issuse, would be time well spent. Get Mr. Nader to turn the heat on

under the FDA!!!! I will however stay out of conversations in the future

that do not involve me. I was reading over all the attachment e-mails that

come along with these and I just responded to it. I really didn't mean to

ruffle anyones feathers. If you ladies think that Mrs. clinton is great and

she is helping us then I am happy to hear about it. I have a big mouth, I'm

very impatient, VERY skeptical, and I like to see some action. As you can

all see by my e-bay ad I don't always think or do things the way that other

people do and a lot of people don't agree with my ways and my ideas, but one

thing is for sure I do get things DONE!

You know I have memorized and can easily remember the names of most of the

people that have been working so hard and for so long to help us, and I just

didn't realize that " you know whose " name was one of them. Love, me.

PS. I bet I'm in trouble now. You guys can drop me from your club if ya

wanna, I understand. Thanks, Lana Dearest. Oh man, I wish I could, but I

just can't. I can't resist one last question, do you really think $90,000

dollars worth of stock was a mutual fund investment? And you guys missed the

Martha point of the story anyway.

I wholeheartedly agree... as long as politics and religion can be

discussed without attacking the party or the religion.
